How long does it take to build my website?

Most Starter sites are delivered in about 5 days, Business sites in around 12 days, and Custom projects typically take 3–4 weeks depending on scope. You'll get a clear timeline before we start.

Do I need to write the content myself?

Not necessarily — you can provide your own text and photos, or I can help draft copy for your business based on a short questionnaire. Either way, nothing goes live without your sign-off.

Can I make changes after the site launches?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Small text/image updates can usually be handled quickly, and larger changes can be scoped as needed. Ongoing support plans are also available if you'd like regular updates handled for you.

Do you handle hosting and domains?

Yes. Hosting and maintenance are included as an £80/month fee starting from your second month — the first month after launch is covered. You'll need to register your own domain, but I can guide you through that.

Why is there a monthly fee? What does it actually include?

The one-off price covers building your site. The £80/month fee covers: hosting; SSL/security (your site is served over HTTPS automatically); uptime monitoring, so I know immediately if your site goes down; minor text and image changes; fixing small issues that come up; basic technical support; and keeping the underlying software up to date (dependency and framework updates are tracked and applied automatically). Backups aren't included by default, but can be added for sites that need them — just ask.

I'm not based in Slough — can you still build my site?

Yes, absolutely. While I'm based in Slough, I work with clients remotely across the UK and worldwide — everything can be handled over call, email, or WhatsApp.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Every package includes a one-off build price plus an £80/month hosting & maintenance fee from month 2 — both are shown upfront. Anything beyond the agreed scope is always discussed and agreed before any work starts.
